Why Some Women Dont Like Guys Who are Too Nice-3.jpg

Women always say, when being asked about what they want in a guy, that they would just like a simple, nice guy. But when it comes to the actual dating scene, why do we see a lot of women ending up with exactly the opposite - jerks, rascals, and no-good guys who don't treat their women well? Does that mean that the women are just lying when they say that they would really like nice guys?

What makes this argument a bit shady is the definition of "nice." When referring to a "nice guy," guys tend to think that girls really prefer a guy who's meek, nice to all women, behaves submissively, is always "sensitive" to a woman's needs, and always listens and asks his woman what she wants. All of these characteristics, when considered individually, may be what women mean when they refer to a "nice" guy, but having all of these characteristics in one guy can spell disaster. All of those characteristics combined would make a guy clingy and needy, a guy who's definitely a turn-off for women.

Women aren't attracted to bad boys at all, but they're not attracted to weaklings either. By "nice guys," women mean that they would like their men to be good (but no pushovers), confident, charming, stands up for himself and his woman, humorous and knows how to conduct himself in a sure manner when he's in public. A lot of guys who get girls usually have these characteristics at the start, but then show their "true" colors (being jerks) later. Women really mean what they say when they claim that they would like a "nice guy", when nice means confident and someone who has a quiet strength. So, yes, "too nice" as in nervous, pushovers and needy guys are deal breakers for women. In the end, what women really want is a guy who they are attracted to and would make them feel desirable with a guy's ability to be quietly strong and confident.
