Turning Casual Dates into a More Serious Relationship

So, you have the man of your dreams with you already. It started out like a whirlwind romance. You catch each other's eyes in a bar. He approaches you, say hello, and get each other's numbers. You thought of him in fond, lingering thoughts the following day. After a few days, you get a call from him asking if you are free for a movie. You take the chance and have a date, until one date becomes two. A bouquet of flowers becomes weekly. You start getting giddy at the mere fleeting thought of him. Then, he tells you that he's not exactly seeing anyone else and would like to know if you would like to exclusively see each other. Congratulations, you are now in a romantic relationship!

Getting into a serious relationship

What people usually know but choose to ignore is that there is a stage in a relationship where there would be something more than just roses and rainbows. Worse, they usually think that when it is time to move on to this stage in a relationship, the "honeymoon," "all-is-sweet-and-nice" romantic stage must come to an end.

While it is true that a romantic relationship is where all relationships between two adults who want to have a lifelong partner begin, it certainly does not end there. That is to say that the romantic stage is a great component of any relationship. It's not something that should be considered as mere superficiality. It is true, though, that this stage in a relationship is when each partner puts all ideal attributes in each other, although that is not exactly the case. The only solution there is to improve yourself: find out what your guy wants and try to think of a way to enhance yourself permanently so that you can be the best person for your man.
