Casual dating has rules too! Just because it's named "causal" doesn't mean you can just be loose, let your hair down and not take things seriously. Certainly, casual dating does not mean you getting uptight about each and every detail, but it certainly helps if you will take casual dates with a sense of purpose. Who knows? 1. Don't be afraid to get the number.

If you get to converse with someone you find attractive, then get his or her number. It doesn't matter where- supermarket, bookstore, elevator or club. You can politely ask for his or her number. Casual dating means always being on the lookout for new people, so try racking up the digits! Just make sure you make some conversation first or else, you'll look like a creepy stalker. Don't get hurt if someone refuses to give you his or her number. Practice always makes perfect and there will always be someone who's on the same wavelength as you who will give you a number, eventually.

2. Don't go for one type - be open to possibilities.

A lot of people end up getting frustrated because they cannot find a good date, but they are unaware that they‘re into typecasting. You don't really need one type of guy to have a perfect a date. Just because you've always liked slick bad boys ala James Dean, doesn't mean you have to look for him all the time. There are lots of types of guys all over - you just have to look around.

3. Kissing and telling is a big no-no, even on casual dates.

Be discreet and don't tell everyone about your previous hook-ups, especially your future one. Discussing your past dates will only spell trouble and is always in bad taste. Any effort to spark jealousies will only make things worse, and never better.
